Small bike project - Not my CB...Yet

So, few year back I got an FZ6. Partly to ride while I saved up for parts to do an extensive rebuild.

Today, finally started modding it to be a naked bike. The windscreen on it was just terrible to sit behind.
Before:

Partial after:

I dont have the speedo mounted. Still have to figure it out, but I got ideas.
Headlight may change position too, but it looks pretty good where it is at.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

You can never go wrong with a standard round headlight.

I think you've got the light sitting at a real nice height. Doesn't look like you can tuck it any closer to the forks, either.

Well, got most of my bike done today. Only could minor things: paint the speedo mount sometime and get a bag of some sort for the connectors under the speedo. Minor stuff really.

Used flat aluminum stock for the speedo mount, I might smooth the corners before shooting it with paint.
Might raise the headlight just a bit too, but that is easy enough. Bit of a gap between the headlight and speedo, depends on cables and such though.

You can see the bad-end mirrors if you looks close. I think I might really like those. I see behind me instead of my shoulders.

Looks nice, man! I'm a big fan of bar-end mirrors. Love the visibility out of them.

They take a bit to get used to and I have 1 that needs a bit of adjustment, but they do seem to work surprisingly well. I see more than just my shoulders now.
