Stealing a tank off a Honda Dream 305?

cwright856
Hey, has anyone ever heard of someone stealing the gas tank from a Honda Dream and putting it on a more modern motorcycle, with a strong frame, better engine etc.?  I'm about to purchase a 77 Honda CB750, and I wanted to try to modify one of these tanks to make it fit the cb.  If you're a purist....ehhhh... sorry?  Just sounds like tons of fun to me.

Cheers

I wish I could find one, for my bobber project. You might need to remove the two tubes that go under the tank, for the tank to fit, but it does not effect the strength of the frame. Thousands of bikes have had them removed without any problems.

Anything can fit anything with enough cutting and welding. Go for it.
