Steering hoeadstock lower race removal

Hi guys, the top race was difficult to get out but the bottom one looks impossible as I can't seem to see a lip on the race to knock out, anyone got any tips please?

www.vintagecb750.com  has a special toolike to pull the steering races. It's about $30 but I have not tried it.

Just use a long punch. It takes some work and going around it several times, but it will come out. Once you get it to move a little the punch will get a better purchase on it.
