More sharing Mike!   What kind of buff do you use in the dremel?  Is it anything like this?:

No waaay to small.You cant apply pressure with a dremmell.If you sand correctly the aluminum will almost be shiny before you buff.For the buffing prossess I use a much bigger shaft on my drill so I can lean into it!!This where the chrome like finish comes in.I use two drills.One to apply the rouge (RE cutting wax) the second one to take the rouge off.I finish with over the counter aluminum polish = Mothers
 Sorry I dont know your experence level.You under stand your going to apply the rouge to the spinning felt bob then apply the spinning felt bob to your clean and sanded part.Earler I posted polishing polishing forks on the bike.that post is still here,you should find it.It will help you!!Please feel free to ask any questions here.I would be glad to answer them for you.
 The best way is to use a buffer if you want to take the time.

Sorry I did not reply in order guys.
 Daddy man that will work.The bobs on the left the hard ones are the bobs you will use the most.The spiral buffing wheels is what you can finish with.Be careful with your drill.Its easy to hit the drill into the parts your polishing.Not good!!I dont use them much.

LOL.Sorry for laughing Daddy-o.Im just imagining the look on your face when you heard the chuck grind into your fork.Its not much safer using a bench mounted buffer.It jerked a axle clamp for the fork leg out of my hand and slammed it into the concrete floor.Very not cool!Lots of sanding to fix that booboo

My buddie tried polishing off my buffer ONCE!!Just a float bowl if I remember right ,anyway he could barley walk after it hit him in the foot.Shiny Mike

LOL.I learned quick,when it gets too hot to hold,just chill.Gotta have that firm grip!
