Tachometer

corvet
1992 CB750 Nighthawk. Bad tach. Not an input wire; the problem is in the tach. A new one from Honda is $585. Any ideas on used tachs or repair shops that fix old tachs? Thanks.

Electronic tach I am assuming. You could just get a new electronic tach then that should work just fine.
Something like this.

Just have to make sure it is weather proof.

Otherwise you could check ebay or a bike bone yard but the 92 probably isnt too common yet in those.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

Rerun,

Thanks for getting back to me. Yeah, it's an electronic tach. I wanted to get one made for the Honda since it has the four indicator lights in it: oil, side stand, neutral and high beam. I checked e-bay but will keep trying. Does anyone repair these things?

Mike
