I thought I read that it was a cb350. The 2 cylinder version.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!

It is, but in the original movie she rode a stock showroom bike, sport bike I think. This is a custom built cafe style bike, so it cooler.

“I bought all three Larsson books and read them in three days: the character of Lisbeth Salander is killer. As I read the books, I kept thinking that Lisbeth’s bike would be the kind of bike most 20-somethings with limited financial recourses would ride. She wouldn’t have an expensive modern bike: she would have an inexpensive older bike that would be customized to fit her personality.”

Bike is very cool. cb350 i believe, and the movie is pretty good too.

Yeah, but in the movie, she is a very successful investigator and does make very good money. But still, the new cafe style bike is MUCH more suited to the character. I agree.

I watched all three movies. They were in Swedish, not French, and they were fantastic. I was watching the Lisbeth character, not the bike.

Ah,Swedish.My bad.Thanks Peter
"Lisbeth" looks much better in the new Sherlock Holmes movie, btw

Just realized, they got a different actress for the new one. Original Lisbeth was played by Noomi Rapace, the new Lisbeth is played by Rooney Mara. The new actress actually went and got all the ear piercings for the role, while the original actress had the much more interesting story of "having already had them from her punk rock days" and just re-using them. I thought the new actress looked different, but until I looked it up, I wasn't sure.
