The difference between my Honda 750 and my Kawasaki 500

rm56-2
Today I enjoyed a break in the rainy weather and took both my 76 Kawasaki 500 triple and my 74 Honda CB 750 out for a ride. The triple is hot blooded, starts up quickly and idles perfectly. The Honda is a stone cold reptile to start, takes 15-20 minutes to warm up. The Kaw is just the ticket when you need a dose of insane, and a ticket is just what you may get if your right hand twists too much. The Honda is your favorite girl, trustworthy steady, reliable. Mello and smooth as silk. I rode the Kawasaki through a Safeway parking lot in my small town. Smoke bleching from the pipes, women grabbing their kids from my path, stairs of you damn gross polluter, I'll call Al Gore, Michael Moore and the EPA on you. The Kawasaki is the perfect bike for a Klingon warrior, "Ah, it was glorious!" The Honda attracts guys my age who can't help the urge to walk up and say "Hey thats a classic".  The Honda is my wife, the Kawasaki is the mistress you have on the side. If someone tells you "Are'nt you too old for that" They are but your not unless you allow them to make you feel that way.
