I have a partially converted cafe race cb 750 that I am thinking of selling. The only cutting done to the bike was in the plastic part of the rear fender to accommodate a new seat pan. I have everything I took off the bike including the rear box if someone was looking to restore her. She did not come with mirrors and the original turn signals were broken beyond repair. I do however have a box of parts that came with her that I have not gone through but there is at least a header and rods. The good, she's a daily runner now and pretty dang good, the engin was completely gone over and redone 2 years ago. The bad-ish, the clutch has a hitch in first gear but it's only if you red line it off the start. The front fork will need some work, the boots are slowly coming off and since I have not done any work on it I'd say they need a good once over. The ugly, rust and finishing work. I have been working on making her safe to ride and making only small cosmetic improvements here and there with the goal being to have the tank painted get new side covers and powder coat the wheels. I rattle canned the sides and the new seat when I had a broken arm to test color schemes but that's easily sanded off. I have no illusions of grander so I know I won't get out of her what I put in but I was looking to get around $1,500. Does that sound reasonable? I know they are popular right now and she would be an easy finish to full cafe racer or easy restore to full 76 spender. Also if you're interested I live in knoxville tn and can be reached via email, George.imes75@gmail.com.
