Of course that could be done on a CB. Go for it.

I think it would have to be a single over head, I keep looking at this picture and getting some ideas of how to get the look. It would be a very cool bike to do. I think I know what I am doing after X-mas. Shopping for a candidate.

This thing maybe getting off the ground faster then I thought. Just made a call and found a 78 roller with title for $300.00. It has a bad motor and no tank. I would be changing the tank anyway. Fingers crossed hope to look at it in the next few days. This guy said he has all kinds of bike stuff as he was running a custom shop. I will see if he has anything else good hidding.

I don't think $300 is bad for what I need to get started. Maybe a new build started.

I am pretty sure I will be picking it up next Saturday. He told me he would see what else he could gather up for it. Maybe some goodies that will help with the build.

lol Hoko I think the whitewalls will be a little later on. I need to make up my mine on the wheels. I don't know what size is on it right know. But I have been looking at rims and don't know if I can but if I go with spokes I may see if I can lace a back rim on a front hud to get the same size that I will be looking for.

My motivation bike picture looks like it may have 17 or 18" rims with some fatty tires. I love the look.

The bike has some kind of mag wheel on it now. If they are the same or close I may use them for setting every thing up.

But it will have some whitewalls on it like the one in the picture.

No Puite the ones on my other bike are still pearly whites.

Almost looks like a car tire on there. Could easily be wrong though.

Either way, I love the look of 'em as well.
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?

If I had to guess I'd say the bike in the pic has 16'' Harley rims on it. I onlt say that because it looks like what they call a dropped center rim. The valve stem on those wheel are in the center of the rim, whereas the earlier HD dropped center rims were offset. They take an oddball tube that is pretty pricey. I paid for $26 just for that one tube

That bike has the same rims and tire front and back. I've seen a couple bikes running matching tires front and back. They always use a front tire for both positions. Never seen one with a rear tire as a front. It's pretty cool look when they match up like that I think.

An enterprising man(read:not me) could measure a Honda hub and use that measurement to scale against the rims in that pic to determine the size.
