FYI on my '79 LTD with the comstar wheels, my front is 17" and the rear is 19".
It wasn't easy finding dependable tires, in the different sizes, of the same brand, but I finally tracked down not only a good deal, but a good brand (Avons). I got them last summer for about $220 shipped to my front door.
For anyone else needing new rubber here it is:
