Last night I was going to run out, for a midnight snack, but the Toolmatic would only run on two cylinders, so it had to stay home
I had to drive the Toolhauler. Anyway after School this evening I put it on the new lift (I do not know how I ever lived with out this thing.) I knew it was not firing on 1-4, so I switched the point wires to check the coil. It did not fire. I then checked the voltage at the points. The 1-4 was only getting 8 volts. The 2-3 was getting 11.5. I then pulled the coil, and checked continuity. It did not have anything on the wires. I replaced the coil with another one I had, and it fired right up.
However me being me
I went on, and replaced the points, and set the timing. I guess tomorrow I will adjust the valves, and sync the carbs before School, and maybe adjust the chain.
