No surprises.You're looking at the bondo on this one.Cap and lock works fine.Insanely clean inside.NO RUST! I can see the factory welding inside. $50 + shipping





Two dents on right side towards the front.None on the left.Cap is good,but latch is broken.NO RUST inside but has some sort of thick greasy coating in it.Needs a good cleaning,but rust free. $50 + shipping

I would be interested in the second picture.... I made the mistake of selling my original tank and got one in better cosmetic shape... BUT IT LEAKS! Please tell me there are no pinholes, leaks etc...Even after kreeming the tank it still leaked and destroyed my paint job. Let me know!

It was so clean I never thought of checking for leaks.I'll do that today and get back with you.

Filled it with water and it sat for about 5 hours.No leaks or wet spots. The outside underneath does have some surface rust,but nothing scaly or flaky that would cause you to suspect rust. I do not know if the petcock works or not.

Just to be clear,you were asking about the second tank,not the second picture,right? The one that still has paint on it is the one I tested for leaks.

Yes, the one with the oil gunk in it. I have a rebuild petcock. My CB is a 74... Is the petcock on right side?.

Yes it is on the right side.The throttle side. I will post a pic of the petcock to make sure it is the same as yours.Hopefully tomorrow.

Scrappyike just got the one with paint on it. The other one is still up.  I do need stuff,whatcha got? A couple things i need are a front caliper and a rotor for a SOHC Comstar (5 mounting holes).

I also need a seat. If you have any late model tail fairings that would be perfect. I also need mufflers. Just holler at me.
