That metal piece is a fuse link. Just get a wire in blade type fuse holder, and some crimp connectors with 1/4 inch holes. Install a crimp connector on the ends of the two wires on the fuse holder. Then bolt them to each side where the metal fuse strip was screwed/bolted in. Then install a 30 amp fuse, or blade type circuit breaker, and you are good to go.

I will get that stuff and do that tomorrow. The metal peice I was talking about was something hanging off of my keys that touched two of the fuses. Would that have fried the two 15A fuses in the fuse box on the handlebars? Or did that just somehow fry the main? Thank you again TOOLS1, I really appreciate all of the help

I thought you were talking about the fused link by the starter solenoid. However keys would short out an electrical connection.

when you say the wires that go onto the fuse do you mean the motor/battery wires on the top of this? Can you show me a picture of one done?
