Valve adjustment question

To make a very long story short -  If someone (e.g., professional mechanic) mistook my 1980 CB750f for a 1981 CB950f and adjusted the valves according to the shop specs for a 1981 CB950f, would the clearances be incorrect?  Would the job have been performed incorrectly?
It appears that the shim sets for the different models are the same although the cams are definitely different.  If the specs for the clearances are different, I would figure the job would have been performed incorrectly?  I've only got the 750 shop manual.
Maybe I'm just worrying too much.  Seems to run fine.  Guess I'm just an old woman.

The valve clearances are the same for all of the twin cams ,so I think you should be ok.

Just a little information.
The valve clearances as stated in the book are too tight.
Experience over the years have revealed that 0.005" plus- minus 0.001"
Makes the valves last a lot longer.

I second this. My reason is that as the engine heats up, the metal expands ever so slightly.
FYI, a 100 foot piece of steel heated up to some temp (I cant remember)will lengthen by a foot.
The slight increase in gap will do exactly as cbrider said. It will make the whole train last longer.
you might notice a slight increase in noise so be prepared for that. You might notice it.
I do this same thing on my 78k. I increase each gap by .001 and it does seem to help slightly with power but then that is coming from the butt dyno.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
