Some may wont to know how well Vintage handles there returns, well said on sight would except ,
BUT 20% restocking 17.00 - 20% = 13.60 - shipping 8.50 =
For my troubles I get 5 bucks "O" and a dime.
They said would work to hold gators they don't,They slip out of the lower legs (there great for letting you know how far your tubes moved cause it's were they left them. The flare on the cover doesn't even go wider then the lower legs ,I was going to cut my Gators down, why I asked and bought them.
This is my Wrong for not knowing,Now letting others learn from my mistake(or vintage experience at this particular part)

I would swear someone told, you to use the Cycle X gators Your forks are just like the DOHC forks I am using, and the Cycle X gators slip down past the dust seal, and have a really nice tight fit on the slider, and the fork tube.

It was funny I was pushing down kinda bouncing the front how I adjust (line up) them. I look over and the damn thing was up and not even thinking of staying were it should,
There is no prob.with the gators there tight on the tubes up top and don't need a clamp and could be pulled over the legs but naw I wont a straight flow not some over power looking military look on it,
reason I went with more pleats ,theres some with very few(big Fat) pleats but not for me.
Vintage  just needs to give me a full (shipping) return for them advertising that they fit

You would think it if is advertised to fit a particular model that they would have to stand by it.The local guy that "ordered" me a wheel seal about 2 months ago never had called me.Or answered my calls. After reading this last night I paid him a visit today. He ALWAYS called me by name when i was in the store and even knew my phone number. He would answer the phone "Hello Eric".He KNOWS who i am.Acted like he had no clue what i was talking about and that he never remembered me coming in before.I told him screw the seal, just give me my $22 back.He told me I must be at the wrong shop...i told him I was sure of that.Man,I really wish i was under 18 right now.

Just curious. Did, you install them in the sliders with the tube out, or just slide them down the tube, and shove them into the slider? They need to be installed with the tube removed from the slider.
