WANTED "F" Rear Wheel

TOOLS1
Administrator
I am wanting a 75-76 "F-F1" spoked rear wheel. I mostly need the hub, cush drive, and rotor. Condition of spokes, and rim does not matter.

I have a disc you can have. But,it's been drilled and doesn't have the prettiest pattern.

Will post a pic if you don't remember that rotor.

Sorry bud, I totally forgot about this until I stumbled across the rotor recently. Will this work for you?

It would if I had the rest of the wheel. Bid $165.00 on a hub with rotor, and cush drive the other day. However it went for $227.00.

I cannot text, so I called the guy, but he does not answer the phone, and does not have voice mail set up. I sent him an email, so I guess I will see if he emails back.

I hate when they don't have their voice mail set up. I can see not answering an unknown number but at least let people leave a message if you're trying to sell something.

You should check out Google Voice on the computer, you can text for free.

I hope you can get the bike, and for a lot less than $500. Lot of good parts there. I'd be all over it but my dryer decided it didn't need to work anymore. And, I made the fatal mistake of letting a dealer work on my car. I took in in for a recall (Chevy, ignition switch) and decided to go ahead and let them change the coolant (no radiator cap?) and transmission fluid (no dipstick?). I didn't bother to ask how much, figured a couple hundred, right? No. $370! Most of that was for the fluids, not labor. They really get you that OEM GM stuff.

Finely got a hold of the guy. Going up to check it out tonight after class. Says it has a title, and all the parts except for the gas tank.

Re: WANTED "F" Rear Wheel

Went up and checked it out. It was rough! A High school kid had it, and had been hacking away on it with his buddies. The wiring, and control switches were all butchered. The carbs are stuck, and the brakes are all disassembled. Went to kick the engine over, and it started to crank, but stopped suddenly. Then took a look at the title. The kid had signed it as buyer, and dated it. So we did some negotiating, and agreed on a price. It is now in my driveway. This weekend I will be stripping the parts off it that I can use on my F, and the rear wheel will go to Mortal Vindication.
