Where are you from?

Lincoln Highway Bullitt
Ok since I'm fairly new here and don't know many on the board but enjoy reading all the posts. This topic may have come up before but for us new guys how about letting us know where you call home? Also is there any bike rally's that you go to in your area?

Well for me; my name is Craig Perigo and I reside in Stoystown, Pa. I only live about 4 miles from where Flight 93 went down on 9-11. The biggest bike meet in our area is "THUNDER IN THE VALLEY" in Johnstown, Pa. If any of you guys get out to that show let me know and we can hook up for a few beers.

I'm Eric. I live in Montvale VA,in Bedford County. We have a "Thunder Valley" nearby here, too.Bristol Motor Speedway. A 1/4 mile sunk down deep in a valley...when the top fuel cars launch it is a fitting name.

Not trying to be nosy, but since you are a racer,do you ever visit the forum on Racingjunk? I'm olds48 over there.

I'm Simon, I live in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada.  There was a vintage swap meet close to me last weekend, but I wasn't able to make it out (had to fly into Salt Lake City for a conference).

I have had my Cb750a for about a month.  the key switch quit .  I have it apart, and i have found info about how to hot wire it but this one has 5 prongs, 5 wires... and all the info I have found talks about 4 wires.  On one side 2 wires are brown, center is red, and other side is one brown and 1 green maybe...   Either way, I need it to run enough to get it to my dad's shop where he is going to help me with my apparently leaky carb since gas was leaking into the oil.

I am in KY and could really use some instruction.  I think I can just jump the connections in the wiring harness, but if I knew which ones to jump where I would feel better.  I already blew a fuse somehow.

I have ordered a key switch , but suddenly the local shop has closed for a week.  They think having a baby is a big deal or something!  :)

Oh, and I already changed the oil so don't worry about that part!
Thank you in advance for insight!  If you prefer to call, my number is 859-242-6627

I'm Jonny, from Mpls. Mn. There are a ton of bike events here in the summer, a couple so close I walk.
We have a long running event called 1st Thursday, it's the 1st Thursday of every month, hence the name. Hundreds, if not a thousand bikes at everyone. It started as a small group in a pizza places parking lot, it now takes over a whole neighborhood. Then there is The bearded lady freak show, Grumpy's bike night, which is a weekly get together followed by a bike show in the fall, and Blind Lizard, which has been going on longer than I know.
Minneapolis is a very bike friendly city, despite our short riding season.

Hi,
Sorry, I don't have expertise with the electrical system yet. I haven't had to mess with mine much.
Your best bet would be to ask on the board, someone will help you out.

Regarding gas in the oil - I don't see how that could be a carb problem. There is something else that is causing that inside the motor.
