Will wheels from a 1978 cb750f3 fit on a 1982 cb750f

Jack
I am new to the forum, and new to building motorcycles. I bought a 1982 cb750f, and have been rebuilding it for over a year now.

I like the look of the older wheels and have found a set with tires for a good price but I am worried that they won't fit. Does anyone have any insight that may help??? Will the rotors on the front and rear line up correctly. Will the sprocket line up correctly. I have tried to do some internet searches, but have been having a tough time.

Right now the bike is stuck in the garage with a flat rear, and a front tire with cracked side walls.

Welcome to the forum. I know the rear will fit, but on the front I doubt it would bolt right up. You could do some measuring if, you have the parts handy. If it is the spokes, you want, just fine a DOHC K model, and get the front wheel off of it.
