Year of manufacture

TWTIM2
Hi there.
I  have recently acquired a Honda CB 750. I am trying to find out the year of manufacture, I am told that it is 1979 yet I can't find out via the frame and or engine number. I have tried looking it up on the Honda sites but nothing seems to match.

I am fairly new to this  and would appreciate some help in tracking it down.

The frame number is:JH2RC0121CM002195
The engine number is: RC01E-2402342

Many thanks in advance
