can anyone diagnose this sound?

tcazes
so my carbs started this after reassembly last night....can NOT pinpoint what is causing it. i tried tightening the boots, loostening the boots, checking for leaks, nothing.......anyone know what could be causing it? its almost like there is a pressure buildup then the release (quick....psst) i know i dont have a blow off valve or a turbo so that cant be it :p im stumped..

sounds like something pumping.
on mine thers a small cannister under the battery,
the vents all drain to that,
maybe see if it's full.

I'd pull the airbox, start that thing up and watch whats going on with the slides/butterflies also.

eh per the manual it shows the breather tubes dump into the air box. thats kinda dumb. putting hot dirty air back into the system...

ok so with the crank breathers just left to breathe into the open, the band clamps up on the lip of the boots (stopped the pst sound that was periodically there) but at idle it still has a stumble/miss/lope type deal. seems strange...

Will check the plugs on the next tank.
