cb750 k2 misfire

tobor
I have a cb750 k2 (1972) which misfires/ looses a cylender or two once it warms up and is running at highway speeds.  the missing is a consistant loss of power in at least one cylender, maybe two.  sometimes it will come back to full power in spurts, sometimes it won't untill i have slowed down for a couple of minutes.  I am wondering if anyone can tell me how to test the coils, or a brand of manual that can tell me that.  the Clymer manual that i have only says how to remove and install the coils.  nothing about testing.  if anyone knows the impedence to check for and the points across which to check it,  that would be very helpful.

This also could be a plugged main or needle jet or lack of fuel to one or two carbs. Also check the condition and gap of the points. I've also had spark plugs go dead on me. I'll try to look up the coil specs in my book but valve clearance and compression is also critical.   Paul
