Got a box of spare 1980 cb900 parts. Parting out what I don't need/want
I got a good deal, so I'll pass it along to the group. Note that I'm in Canada, so shipping to the states will be a little more expensive than if I was also in the US. Unless indicated by "cb900" the parts should interchange.
KG luggage rack
cb900 rear drum brake
2 rear shocks (slightly shorter than my cb750 shocks)
stock swept back chrome handlebars
headlight with bucket
Left and right hand control levers
Left and right foot pegs (not passenger pegs)
Rear fender (cut)
DOHC valve cover (I checked and it exactly lines up to my cb750 one)
cb900 engine crash guards (could be modified to fit the cb750 with a bracket)
2 cb900 seat grab rails (could be modified to fit cb750 with bracket)
1981 CB750K with 900 cams
90K KM's, rebuilt head, rebuilt carbs, upgraded valve stem seals

I might be interested in the exhaust flanges. Could I get you to post a pic?
|
|
They're gold, in great shape and now I'm not sure if I want to sell them.... I don't think they'll fit a cb750 though, so they might not be useful to you anyways.
I've been thinking of removing them from the list because I have my eye on a cb900F that I can get for real cheap, but it's missing the exhaust (and the flanges).
I'm keeping myself to one bike build at a time...

Hey man, I've got a 1981 cb900 custom.
It's missing the passenger hand grabs, and I really want some crash guards. I live in Toronto, and I'm ready to buy, so send me an email through my profile on prices and when we can follow up.

BikerKid, did you not get the email I sent you? If not, please contact me simon at kremental dot com.
The crash guards are in rough shape, but still look very strong and don't appear to have taken major crash damage. It does look like there is some surface rust on them that has been covered up with paint though. Here is a pic:
If you're so inclined, I would guess that they would clean up nice if you put some time into them.
I do not have a cb900 to see if they fit "for sure", but am willing to take measurements/pics with a tape measure for you.
Pics of the passenger grab rails are above. One is spoken for, but has not been purchased yet.

Yeah man, for sure, take some pictures of the crash guards and the passenger grabs with a tape for measurements, and I'll be able to line up if they work. What's your price for the grab rails and the crash guards, and where are you based out of?
