charging issue

how can i tell if battery is being charged ...i know its not cause it eats new batteries like crazy
what can i do? its bike week and im grounded

Although my battery is 5 years old i did hold a charge but would not turn her over.I was told its amps  it needs new batt and away it went.

That would be my opinion as well....If you're getting 14v charging system is working.

all sorted got ehough power to the s/motor the i died. So a new battery sorted it.Now a new problem front brake light switch.Screw siezed in and looking at way around it may be a bench drill I cant see the real pupose of the screw.

I looked at this now and you need to check more into the alternator etc,pop down to the garage and get a meter on it.

   I had a bad front brake pressure switch, left it in place, and replaced it with the type of switch that takes place of the banjo bolt that holds the brake line on the other side of it. The wires are attached to this nut and got it at the Honda dealer for around $15. Easy fix.
