coils and rectifier etc positions

11moonraker
hi,

in the process of putting a box of bits that used to be a 1980 cb750k back together. got to fit the coils, rectifier, spark units etc and could really do with a couple of photos showing the orientation, position etc. Could anybody take a couple of photos and mail them to me?

Oh, and most of the connectors have been cut off, so I'll have to put a load of spades on the ends and work out what goes where - but thats another problem for another day!

Is there a particular reason to put on connectors? I mean you certainly can of course but maybe a thought to soldering the wires instead?

thanks - the only reason really is that I dont want the rectifier etc to be "hard wired" to the harness in case I need to take the bits off at some point in the future.

Well if you do go with connectors, get good ones with low loss and at least solder them to the wires. Doing this will help out the charging system and help prevent issues down the road.
