converting charging system

hey, new to this site.  ihave a 80 cb750c and was wandering if anyone has any experience converting the charging system to one of the newer 750's or if it can even be done.

I have a system on my just purchased '74 that was supplied by these guys,http://www.motorcycleproshop.com/acc/ricks/electrical.asp
Had to rewire the bike and they were a lot of help
