greenhorn here with an exhaust and intake question

CCCP916
hey, bought my first bike bout a month ago 76 750kfour. Runs ok, the idle is a little inconsistent, but i think syncing the carbs will help that. my question is i have some cone style racing filters on the way in the mail, to replace the stock box, and i'm wondering what i should rejet the carbs to, i also have a 4in2 exhaust from a 550 on the way (free, lucky find) will that fit? and will i have to rejet the carbs again? and finally, any advise on where to by the rejet kit? any advise is appreciated thnx, Vadim

Learn how to jet, and give it what it needs.  If you want really good jetting, there is never one answer.  Jetting in CO is not the same in FL, but many 'jet kits' etc will try to say otherwise.  Most bikes run rich, and they will run fine rich, but that is unacceptable for me.
