handle bar question`

cityslicker
Hey guys,,, So those clubmans I got... I am using the stock throttle, and everything else. now the throttle has a pin that fit into a hole in the bars to keep it from sliding around in circles I figure, and the wires of course ran into the bars through a much bigger hole....
DO I need to drill these holes in my clubmans to put that stuff on them? I imagine itsw YES of course, but I wanted to her it from yinz before I go drillin holes in bars.

My girlfriend of 4 years just left me, so If I blow my brains out, I want Shiny to finish my build for me.. you do that buddy?

Hey!! Don't go blowing your brains out!!! If, you did, then Shiny would have all the fun with your bike. Besides that, it makes a hell of a mess.
On the bars. You can drill holes to run the wires, or grind/file a spot on the control housing, for the wires to go through. On the little nub, I would file it off.

Hey City, take it easy man. I'll help ya do anything you want, but don't talk like that.

If there is anything in this world that can get you down in a hurry,it's a woman. We've all been there, man. I know it sucks, you know it sucks,we all know it sucks. It's all part of life,it's just not the best part. If you ever need anyone to talk to,or if you ever want to just ask a question, feel free to call anytime. Y'all know I'm a night owl so I doubt you'll ever catch me asleep. 540-two zero four-7731. Just holler man. The one I'm with I've been with for 12 years this June. Yeah,I know what it feels like when you've put in the time like you have and then it goes bad.It sucks a$$ ,I know. We have been on and off a few times in those years. It'll get better brother, you just gotta take it easy. Ya just gotta take it easy. If it helps,we're praying things will get better for you over here.

Dude,if you try to pull wires thru a set of clubmans it'll be nearly impossible. It can be done, but where the bars are welded makes it a b*itch. I have heard of people using a thin wire/rope/cable and lots of lube  to get the wires pulled through there. I didn't even consider it on mine...though lots of lube always makes things fun When you got clubmans, you got cables poking out at all sort of crazy angles. I think its alll part of what makes 'em cool. Nobody'll ever notice a few wires tucked under your bars. If you DO pull your wires through the bars...you'll be my hero and can I pay you to do mine? HAHA. Cuz I'm not nearly that motivated.

Catch ya later man.Just holler if you need me.

Oh,as far as drilling the nubs for the controls themselves. I would drill the bars for those.I know some guys grind the nubs off,but when I get on my front brake HARD I wanna KNOW it aint gonna turn on me.

Why would the front break turn? The nub is on the throttle control. I myself like to be able to adjust the position of my throttle control, so that the switches are easy to reach.

But it is not attached to the throttle control, and does not have a nub. Your not being an alarmist are, you?
