ok heres the deal... i just rebuilt the motor on an 81 750c and i put the motor back in the frame and every bolt is about 2 inches too long. what did i do. and i need to know where the wires off of the voltage reg at the alternator go...please let me know

Hi:  Did you drop some spacers some where that take up the gap?  Is your motor offset in the frame or tight both sides?

The wire from between the regulator & alternator goes from the regulator, over the top of the transmission case, then works it's way down the right side of the transmission and goes into the alternator from the bottom.  There are some clips on the frame & motor that hold the wire in place.
