I just wanted to say HI.. brand new to the forum, and somewhat new to cb750's..

Bikes are my life...  i have 4 of them...

1969 Suzuki T500 Titan
1969 Suzuki T125 Stinger
2006 Suzuki Hayabusa,

and of course a recently acquired

1978 Honda CB750..

The two older suzuki's were complete rebuilds bottom up (into cafe racers) and this cb750 will be my 3rd resto / soup up project.

 my boss has a 75 suzuki GT550 that he recently acquired and is rebuilding so he can join the cafe racer club.


Anyway, i'm positive i'll have questions about the cb so i wanted to join the forum. Honda's are somewhat new to me, as are 4 stroke motorcycles.   both of the older suzuki's are 2 cylinder 2 stroke street bikes.. (most people don't know that) their  pretty straight forward.

Did you get the K or F? The K8 engine is sought after for hot rodding. It is an excellent base for building up and had the best clutch of the sohc years.

hey thanks re-run,
 honestly, i'm not sure.. I know it's a K model, but not sure which one. i'll check that out when i get home.  how would i know exactly?   I figure it's a K because of the Vin ... would it be K8XXXXX? (as opposed to say K1XXXX)  ?

Yes I think the vin would be cb750kxxxx. Another easy way is just look at the wheels. Are they spokes or comstars? Spokes are K, coms are F.
