 In the us, what year had the blacked engine? 2000-2003.

I guess a black engine came off and on. 77/78 F had a black engine. In the mid 90s, the engine was black with chrome highlights and that seems to carry through, at least as an option, into 2003 but not all were black engined.

But, were you asking a question, or giving a trivia answer?
