let the games begin.76cb750f

mike piwinski
Lets start  with this is a new computer.I hope I can down load pics.I bought this bike in Sept 2011 let it sit in my garage until a couple of weeks ago.Sometime in 2012 I had the cabs rebuilt.The carbs are still in the bag from that time.When I bought  the bike it had a Vetter or windjammer on it.When I first got the bike I gave away the Vetter and polished a couple of the engine covers.The tank is rusty on the inside so I sent it to a local radiator shop to get cleaned.The muffler is shot.I'm looking for one on this web site and on e-bay.When I get the tank back I'm gonna put the carbs on and see what happends.Lastly I cant find where I put the bolts to mount the engine covers back on!It can be tough to be Polish!!I'm thinking either a bright red,white or the something close to the orginal burgundy.Thanks for looking Shiny Mike

I have the gas tank comin back from the radiator shop some time over the weekend.I picked up a useable stock muffler.The old was just to rotted on the bottom.The new one is pitted and the chrome is bad.I already painted the header.Going to the garage now to paint up the muffler.I hope to install the exhaust on Friday.
 I found most the missed placed bolts but not all of them.I think the only part I'm still missing is the front sprocket cover.Any one have a sprocket cover they don't need?I'd pay for it.I'll put some pictures in when I come back in the house.

So heres the pics of the exhaust.The header looks real good the muffler looks OK.I sanded down the worst of the pitted areas then scuffed up the whole thing so it would hold paint.I did this before on my 1100e.The paint should stick for a couple of years,thats what I get outta the suzik.Let dry,put it together on Friday.

A little help please!I'm getting ready to reinstall my carbs.I need to install the air box first,right?Do I put the maifolds on the head or the carbs?
 I'm thinking put the air box in.Put the manifolds on the the head then squeeze the carbs in place.Put the manifolds from the head to the carbs then the carbs to the airbox.Any advice would be great!Thanks Shiny Mike

You can put the airbox on after the carbs. Just take the bottom cover off, and you will have lots of room to install it.
