I have never used that type of tool, I used gauges, but I have used a lot of line levels. So I know that the fluid will seek it's own level. Are you holding the lines up, and keeping the fluid from draining down?

what i wondering is after calibrating the tool should the fluid not go all back into the bottom not stay where it was when i calibrated it because i calibrated it and had all level while the bike was running and then shut the bike off and it just stays the say like the bike was still running
