I was the same way when I got my bike. I had been working on cars for years. Rebuilding automatic transmissions didn't phase me,but i was completely intimidated by the bike for some reason. Then I came to find out they are soooo much simpler than autos.

Good luck on whatever you decide bud.

The plan is to get it running and to ride it again.

I've got less than $300 into this bike so far. I'm guessing when its all said and done, add a zero to that and thats what I will have into once its on the road again.

Now I've got to find a place to work on it.

I may have found someone to help with the rebuild of the motor. Now to go back down to wv and pick the bike back up.
