new brake lines

Redwing-2
Hi,

As I am going through my 76 CB750k I just rebuilt the front brake caliper and the master cylinder, will be installing new stainless braided brake lines this weekend. My question is is it important to line up the hole in the banjo bolt with the hose or do you just torque it down and let the fluid find a path through the channell between the fitting and the narrowed shoulder? Thanks.

That's exactly what the channel or narrowed shoulder is for.

Yup, no lining anything up. Just make sure you got no kinks and crank it down.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
