parting out 1978 CB750

Dustysnakes
I bought this bike for a project but the further I got into it the more I realized it was to far gone for my taste.  It does still have a lot of good parts on it some of which I am cleaning up for sale others are as is.  The rest will just go to the scrap yard.  Shoot me a line if your looking for anything and I will make you a deal on it.  Just want to recoup the very small purchase price of the bike and maybe make enough to convince my wife to allow me to buy another.

sorry I should also point out it is a K series bike no tank and the motor was shot (someone left it in the rain with no spark plugs) but does still have some good working parts.

What condition are the front forks in?  If there's no rust on the outside of the top, I would be interested. Also, where are you located: shipping might be a problem.  Got a price in mind?

I also meant to ask about the wheels.  Are they five spoke? Condition.  Would you know if they would fit a '72k?

Have you sold this bike? I would be very interested in the engine&caburetors and wire harness if you part this out. Thanks.

I could really use the driver footpegs. And the front and rear gas tank rubber mounts if they are decent. Let me know!

curious if you have the seat - and if so what style it is, and what condition it is

plus do you (or anyone) know if that would fit on a 81 750 custom (I do not like the
existing 'saddle' style that doesn't allow me to slide my butt back further etc)

can email me at clra999@yahoo.com

thanks

I'd be interested in the frame if triple trees are complete or for that matter even just the complete triple tree set=up. Any half way reasonable price is OK.
Where are you located? If it's not to far away I might just take a ride there to pick up the trees. I really don't need much of an excuse to take a ride. Like who does, right?

I have not seen any action here either, for some time. Why don't you just make a new post with what you are needing? There are a lot of lurkers here with parts to sell.

Thanks for the heads up.  I’m new to this forum so I’m still finding my way around.  I need a lot of parts to get this 78 back on the road.
