passenger getting exhaust fumes

i have a CB750 '92 with original exhaust pipes.  my passenger gets exhaust fumes.  Can you all help and advise.

Is this when at a stop? Check for holes around the insides of the mufflers. Otherwise, I am not sure what you can do as the pipes terminate almost right under the passenger. If the fumes are really bad, maybe your a/f mix is too rich.

Have you sat in the passenger spot just to see what it is like? Some people are more sensitive to certain fumes than other people may be. If A/F is good and pipes are good, about the only thing might be to change exhaust then. Certainly not cost effective. Only other thing would be to cut the mufflers off, weld in an extension and weld the mufflers back on.

If you are not attached to the exhaust, you might sell it and then use that cash to fund a new exhaust from kerker where it ends in 1 pipe and not 4 but that might not be much better.
