believe it or not, i picked up some killer
1/4 fuel line at Lowes, in the plumbing section.
real thick stuff.  mine was sucking into itself when it got warm
from the hot motor if front of it.  'specially when running
highway, it would kinda starve, fall onto itself, then die.
also, check out the lawnmower gas filters
I Did / used / went through this QUOTE word for word ,BUT lawn filter from O-Ralleys Put on out side rather then in to see flow always.

Thought of putting inside after all doing great but my faring & lowers hide it well.

Screw it into the spark plug hole, crank it. check all 4 cylinders.
There's charts that show what they should be.
Tells you if the piston rings and valves are doing their job, if they're worn or not.

hang in there guy, even if you have to walk away from it for a bit.

Make sure throttle is open when cranking, and crank for 5 - 10 seconds. It has to build up pressure with incoming air; if you don't have the throttle open you'll get really low readings that are false.

I 2nd a compression test!
Turbos, Hondas, 4-bangers, what could go wrong?

Hey, did you find out if the gas in the tank was E10 and sitting for a few months?  The crap that's coming to the carbs from this fuel is insane!

I have seen them on ebay. If you by just the 1, you have to get the same cyl. number.
The castings are all the same but, the add-on stuff is different. Vent lines, fuel holes, bowls, choke lever & return spring mount. the guts are all the same.
