speedo and tach dismanteling

Hi Guys,
I want to put some new face plates in my 77 750K. How does the speedo and tach come apart.
I have them off and see the 2 screws on the back that hold the inside hardware in. Any help
would be great.

Check the Factory Service Manual (FSM), available on this site, or, if you have a Clymer or Haynes manual, check them.  Be careful, though:  the gauges may have a liquid (damping fluid) in them which may leak, if you put them face down for more than a minute, or so.  Check the manuals.  My '79 has this issue, but I don't know if it is common to all Honda bikes of that era.  Cheers!
