tach and speedo not lighting up

lostson
Well I changed my bars and now the tach nor speedo light up anymore. Went through all the fuses and wiring even took them apart to check them out and still they wont light up. Anyone got any ideas I'm fresh out, thanks.

Check the bulbs to see if they are burned out.  Test the bulbs with a 12 Volt battery connection, at their wiring connectors.  If they light up, then it is a wiring problem between the bike's connector, and the battery; if they don't light up, the problem is between the connector, and the bulb, within the gauge.

Buy a tube of dielectric grease, and coat all connectors (electrical section of your local, DIY stores; if necessary, they also sell electrical contact cleaner, for corroded connections and contacts -- clean, first, then grease); this will prevent corrosion, and it is non-conductive, so you do not need to be careful applying it (I applied it, liberally, to all electrical connectors, plugged/unplugged them several times, to thoroughly distribute it between the connectors' pins).  Cheers!
