 gear ratio is really the owners preference, i have a 82750k and was not happy with the stock gearing, way to low geared, original sprockets on mine was 18 tooth front and 46 rear, was revving way too high for mph i was getting, so i switched rear sprocket to 39 tooth, shortened my chain and i love the gearing, still launches off the line and i can cruise at high speed with out destroying the motor, these motors are designed for high rpm but stock gearing was just rediculous, good luck, mykey440
