Carburetor problem? Maybe???

Hi everyone,

I was washing my bike the other day and I noticed what looked a bit like gas seeping from the bottom part of the carburetor on the clutch side of the bike.

Is this a normal thing for a bike with carburetors?

Is this something to be concerned about?

Is there something that I can be doing to cause this issue?  For example, if I don't turn off the fuel line from the tank every time I get off the bike, will that cause this to happen?
I'm only guessing this because this is the carburetor that is closest to the pet-cock.

Do you think this is worth the money, will I notice the differences they claim???
