What color should I paint my motor and what should I use?

I am wanting to piant my motor but I can't decide between black or silver. I am going to paint the tank and side covers red and the seat will be black with red stitching. I am going to polish out all the covers on the motor. So what color? Balck or silver? What kind off paint has worked for you? Opinions please!
