While taking off the rotor (and other things) for engine disassembly, it was stuck on there pretty well.  This was using the Honda removal tool (or its equivalent).  We found some PB Blaster, and that got in there and freed things up very well.  Popped right off after that.

It may be worth it to borrow/rent the tool from your local Honda MC mechanic.  I recommend the PB Blaster method.  Worked for me.
