I received the piston rings the other day. Now I am waiting on my top end parts to come back from sand blasting. It's quite funny. I have a nice, big shiny cruiser I bought last year and I love to ride it. But I just can't wait to get the old bike back together and ride it instead. Even though the bike was ugly and dirty, I could never get over how many compliments I got on it. Old guys pulling up while going 35 mph and screaming out the window with a thumb in the air. Had one guy wait outside for me to come out of the bank once. It's awesome when you can spend so little (compared to other cool bikes) and get so much enjoyment out of it. Even though this bike has been a money pit, I don't have a single regret about the purchase.
