I can't top that one, but I can get pretty close.  I got a left side control harness for the new Avenger, as I didn't have a proper horn button.  There's a pin that holds the button/contact on the side, a small rather stout spring, and a VERY small circlip to retain the pin.  I'm talking about as small as the end of a felt tip pen. When changing it out, I did drop the spring, which I found, but didn't drop the circlip.

I've heard about some guys who cover work benches in white markerboard, so they can outline the parts as they disassemble them.  It's not very expensive stuff, wipes down easily, and is white so non-white parts should show up pretty well.  Might be worth a shot.

TOOLS, I know that other spring will show up 6 months down the road.  You'll either stab yourself in the toe with it, or the dog/cat will swallow it, process it in their own unique way, and leave it for you where you least expect it.

Bottom line: Did you get the carbs working?
