Well the carbs are back together.
I only lost two springs (the other was, for the accelerator pump linkage,) and two screws. One that mounts the carbs to the rack, and one, for the choke butterflies. Now, for a beer, or two
Tomorrow I will find out if the Toolmatic will ever run again
