That works good if you got 2 people but if doing it solo, not so much.
You can do it but a lot depends on your back as the engine weighs about 180 pounds. So if doing it solo, laying it over may work best.
If you have the tools, you might make and engine hoist and fashion a couple brackets to attach to the engine to move it out.
