It's times like these that I feel like a real noob! I don't even know if my bike has points... It's a 1991 so I'm assuming, no, but then again I have no idea.
Here in Hong Kong space is so precious that I have no where to work on my own bike. I don't even have any tools other than your usual socket set and a couple screw drivers. Because of this space issue, I take my bike to a shop for just about EVERYTHING! Which has it's ups and downs for sure. Downs, oil changes are about $10.00 (U.S. dollars) more than they have to be. Usually they find stuff, they don't try and screw me with fake repairs. But it's a 20+ year old bike, so there's usually other stuff to do.
For example I think I need to replace my head/neck/steering bearing. Sorry not sure exactly what it's referred to as. But I feel a clunky-ness in the handle bars when in bumpy conditions, also sometimes under harder braking...
I REALLY like this bike, but I think I might have to wimp out and buy a new 250 ninja, or stick with Honda and get a CBR250. Bikes here are so darn expensive...
