I don't know how fast you want to go but I'm sure a fresh rebuild on one of those 750s would give ya enough power, especially if you do a hotter cam and little things like that.  I used to drive a 66 VW bug with the original 36 horsepower engine in it and it would do 70mph all day, the 750's are like at 63hp
