Well looking for 1 bike is the same as another no matter the year. The 95 should still be in good shape though with good paint. The rubber bits should all be ok aside from tires. Check those for any sort of cracking or checking. If the person has good maintenance records that is great but ask to hear the bike run. If possible, take it for a short test spin up and down the street to check the gears and smoothness of the motor.
I have to remind myself that a 95 is 16 years old when my bike is already 17 years older!
I have a manual for your year that I need to get online yet.
The ride IS the adventure. The destination is just to get gas!
